Divorce His, Divorce Hers
DIVORCE HIS,DIVORCE HERS is the story of a crumbling marriage as told first by the husband's (Richard Burton) point of view and then in the second half, from the wife's (Elizabeth Taylor).
Jane and Martin Reynolds live in Rome in the early 70's and after 18 years come to the slow and painful end of their marriage. This film was originally made for television and because of its length was shown in two parts.
A unique insight, and perhaps interesting irony, as the principal characters play out a tale which was to become quite real within two years of filming.
